As a future-conscious film production company, we take responsibility—for our actions, our industry, and our planet. Our goal: to produce as resource-efficiently as possible and keep the carbon footprint of every shoot to a minimum. We align with the standards of the Green Shooting working group, which developed ecological guidelines for film and series productions. But we want to go beyond that—we aim to actively shape sustainability. That’s why we foster open dialogue across all departments, agencies, and clients—and why two certified Green Consultants oversee every production here at 5ter Stock with a sustainability-first mindset.
Sustainability doesn’t start on set—it starts in everyday operations. Our office runs on green electricity, we use glass bottles instead of plastic, and stock up on snacks from packaging-free suppliers. We separate waste, avoid unnecessary shipping, and when we do ship, we use plastic-free packaging and prefer trains over trucks or planes. On set, our catering is meat-free, our equipment energy-efficient, and our crew transport as low-emission as possible—thanks to electric and hybrid vehicles. We only fly when there’s no other way, and we offset unavoidable emissions through Atmosfair.
Sustainability isn’t a trend—it’s part of our daily routine and a lasting value in our industry. Every department can contribute. We believe in open conversations—about options, limitations, and concrete actions. Because only when everyone’s involved does green production become more than a checklist—it becomes a shared mindset.
