Based on his great passion for sports and automobiles, Klaus Kneist pushes the boundaries of visual storytelling with his commercials. As an Art Director, he's never satisfied with the ordinary or "what's always been done that way", but is always coming up with new ideas and likes to try things before they become trendy. Due to his background as a cinematographer, in which he has not only been involved in many commercials but also shot several feature films, he has the ambition to always create cinematic worlds in which one can lose oneself. Especially with the longer formats, he recognized what it takes to make something feel real on screen. He's also seen as directing DP when he can't keep his hands off the camera. He has worked with a number of international brands such as Mercedes-Benz, BMW, Porsche, Mini, smart, Audi, Adobe, L'Oréal, Coca-Cola, Jack Wolfskin, Siemens, Bosch, O2, vodafone and many others. With his attention to detail and unusual concepts, Klaus emphasizes the magic of the invisible and always strives for sensational results. His great attention and close cooperation with all departments enable him to take every film to the next level - always in a pleasant creative dialogue with everyone involved.
